Tropical Storm Ian

Gooooood morning! ☀️ Here is your 5AM #TSIanUpdate

#DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a professional meteorologist (I can’t believe this needs to be said) I read a lot of reliable news sources (and source them) share the information with you, and occasionally give my opinion.

Looks like our friend Ian is continuing to push NW which for us is GREAT. I’ve seen situations before where we get the nicest weather because a storm is completely passing us by. I was also here for #HurricaneCharleyso I know things can change at the very last minute. #onlytimewilltell (let’s put that on a tshirt).

☔️ What this looks like to me is Ian is slowing down which means he’s going to suck up all that warm, delicious Caribbean water mon 🇯🇲 and then into the Gulf of Mexico, and level up. ⬆️

There’s still A LOT of time to see what this storm does so there is no reason to PANIC, but stay informed and do some preparation. I couldn’t find water personally yesterday (I did get Deep Eddy Vodka) but if it comes to it, I’ll fill up all the cups in my house. I have enough Starbucks cups for, well… you get it.

I’m going to gas ⛽️ up the vehicles today and I’ll bring the plants into the garage. 🪴 I’ve talked to family about the possibility of boarding up, we are ready to do that for all our houses if it comes to that. I’ve deep cleaned the house and all the laundry is done because from personal experience, it’s really nice to sit in a house with no AC in the summer if your house is clean. 🧼 DO NOT PANIC BUY TOILET PAPER. 🧻 my point is, there is still plenty of time to see what this storm does and to prepare without acting like the world is ending. 🌎 we are going to be ok! We have been here many times before.

💻 My home studio newsroom/research lair/laboratory is always open so if I can help in anyway find information for you, that’s what I’m here for.
